Mocktails Using Tender Coconut Water
Mocktails using tender coconut water, blending tropical flavors and Indian-inspired twists. These are all non-alcoholic, hydrating, and perfect for hot weather or as party coolers:
- Coconut Mango Refresher
Ingredients:
- Tender coconut water – 1 cup (chilled)
- Ripe mango pulp – ½ cup
- Lime juice – 1 tbsp
- Honey or agave – 1 tsp (optional)
- Mint leaves – a few
- Ice cubes – a few
How to enjoy the drink…
Blend mango pulp, lime juice, and coconut water. Pour into a glass with ice, stir in mint, and garnish with a mango slice or mint sprig.
- Coconut Watermelon Splash
Ingredients:
- Coconut water – 1.5 cups
- Watermelon – 1 cup, cubed and deseeded
- Basil seeds (sabja) – 1 tsp, soaked in water for 15 min
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Black salt – a pinch
- Mint leaves – for garnish
How to enjoy your cool refresher:
Blend watermelon into juice. Mix it with coconut water, lemon juice, and black salt. Stir in soaked basil seeds. Serve chilled with mint garnish.
- Pineapple-Coconut Mojito (Virgin)
Ingredients:
- Coconut water – 1 cup
- Pineapple juice – ½ cup
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Mint leaves – 10
- Brown sugar or jaggery syrup – 1 tsp
- Sparkling water – optional
- Crushed ice
Instructions:
Muddle mint leaves with sugar and lemon juice. Add pineapple juice and coconut water. Shake or stir, pour over crushed ice, and top with soda. Garnish with pineapple wedge and mint.
- Kokum Coconut Fizz
Ingredients:
- Coconut water – 1.5 cups
- Kokum syrup – 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Soda water – to top up
- Ice – as needed
Instructions:
Mix coconut water, kokum syrup, and lemon juice. Pour over ice in a glass and top with soda water. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon wedge.
- Tender Coconut Jaljeera Cooler
Ingredients:
- Tender coconut water – 1 cup
- Jaljeera powder – ½ tsp
- Roasted cumin powder – a pinch
- Lime juice – 1 tsp
- Fresh mint – for garnish
- Ice cubes – few
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker or stir well in a glass. Serve over ice with mint and a cucumber stick.
